When asked for a class description, this is the fun response from Amy!

“I’m coming to Creative Journey Studios to teach Liquid Sculpey Techniques and I’m just so excited! Why Liquid Sculpey? Liquid Sculpey is a super versatile medium that can push your polymer clay creativity to the next level in so many ways. I want to share as many techniques with you as possible in the time we will have together! And to make things even more new and fresh, I will be demonstrating how to create your own colors in Liquid Sculpey with the recently released Sculpey Liquid Tint package. Attendees will receive from Sculpey liquids in Black, White, Translucent, Pearl, and Clear; as well as Liquid Sculpey Softener and Thinner; and the Liquid Tint Package.

Here are a few of the techniques we will be sampling together-

Molds: I have myriads of tips for successful molding whether it be thin, medium, thick, or 3 dimensional molds. Bring your own oven safe small silicone molds if you would like or I will have several to share.

Doodles: By making your own “clings” on silicone mats, you can create one-of-a-kind embellishments that you can place on polymer pieces – this one is a game changer for adding detail into designs!

Finger-paints: First, tint Liquid Sculpey to your own color pallet and then let your fingers be your guide!
