Designing Complex 3D Canes

May 31- June 2 (10:00  to 5:00) — $360

Drawing on inspiration of your choosing (a painting, a piece of fabric, a flower or any 3 or 4 color combination that thrills you), you’ll create blocks of Skinner blends that capture the spirit of your muse. From these we will design and build a cane that incorporates the elementary principles of 3-D design. The end result will be a complex cane with potential to create a wide variety of patterns. We’ll dip into that potential to make several focal beads, each with a different look.
