We are so excited that Libby has agreed to come down from Connecticut and teach for us in March. (March 10-12, 2023.) We love her work (and her!) She has a lot to share. We’ll explore a mixed pattern collage effect for jewelry design.

If you follow Libby on Instagram (Libzoid), you will know that every December is “Carve December” where she spends the month making interesting stamps. In class she will share her techniques and tips for stamp carving. She will help you design simple effective patterns and then how to print your stamps on polymer clay. You will create surface design with acrylic paint to create a mix of black and white, and colorful veneer sheets.

Then she will move us toward working with baked patterned sheets to make bold mixed pattern pendants with a modern collage feel.

It looks like fun, doesn’t it? And it opens up so many possibilities.
